The City and Industrial Development Corporation's (CIDCO) fire department has added two cutting-edge vehicles to its fleet to enhance its firefighting capabilities and emergency response. The vehicles, a high-rise firefighting vehicle and a quick response vehicle, were inaugurated by Chief Vigilance Officer Viresh Singh.

The high-rise firefighting vehicle is designed to tackle fires in high-rise residential buildings. The quick response vehicle is equipped to handle emergency situations in narrow places, such as road accidents.

The vehicles were demonstrated by CIDCO fire department’s Chief Fire Officer Vijay Rane, Deputy Chief Fire Officer Pravin Bodkhe, and their staff. The event also featured a LUF Nano Fully Electric Fire Fighting Robot, which was showcased by Singh.

The CIDCO fire department operates from five fire stations across Navi Mumbai, providing 24-hour service to the citizens. The addition of these new vehicles is expected to further improve the department's response time and effectiveness in emergency situations.
