As per the directives of  Chief Minister, Eknath Shinde, CIDCO has decided to waive the miscellaneous charges of the applicants who will pay all the installments before the date of receiving the occupancy certificates of various Mass Housing Schemes developed in Taloja, Sector-34 and 36 in Navi Mumbai between 2018 to 2022. CIDCO has decided to waive the miscellaneous charges (ZPWD, ZWDB & ZMRF) due to the delay in handing over the allotted tenements after executing the agreement with the said applicants as the Occupancy Certificates have not yet been received for these housing projects.

"Applicants of CIDCO's housing schemes in Taloja were facing a delay in getting possession of tenements as the occupancy certificates have not been received. Keeping this in mind, instructions were given to CIDCO to waive the miscellaneous charges of the applicants who will pay all the instalments before the date of receiving the occupancy certificates. Accordingly, it has been ensured that there will not be any financial burden on the applicants by waiving the miscellaneous charges”, said Chief Minister Eknath Shinde.

"As per the directives given by the Hon'ble Chief Minister Shri. Eknath Shinde, it has been decided to waive the miscellaneous charges of the applicants who will pay all the instalments before the date of receiving the occupancy certificates as there is a delay in getting the occupancy certificates for the houses constructed under CIDCO’s Mass Housing Schemes at Taloja, sector- 34 & 36. This will certainly provide relief to the applicants”, Anil Diggikar, Vice Chairman & Managing Director, CIDCO.

Various Mass Housing Schemes for economically weaker sections (EWS), lower income group (LIG) and general category citizens were developed by CIDCO between 2018 to 2022 at Taloja, Sector 34 and 36. Allotment letters have also been issued by CIDCO to the applicants who have emerged winners in the computerized lottery draw of these housing schemes and became eligible after the scrutiny of the documents. As per the schedule mentioned in the allotment letter, some applicants have paid all instalments of the tenement and other miscellaneous charges, while some applicants have paid all instalments except miscellaneous charges.

As the housing projects in these housing schemes have not yet received the occupancy certificate, it has been observed that there is a delay in the possession of the allotted tenements after executing an agreement with the successful applicants. Due to this technical reason, CIDCO has decided to waive the miscellaneous charges of the applicants who will pay all the installments before the date of receiving the occupancy certificates so as not to put any financial burden on these applicants. Accordingly, it should be noted that only those applicants who will pay all the installments before the date of receiving the occupancy certificates will become eligible for waiving of miscellaneous charges.
