Ambernath: Buddha Purnima, marking the Mahaparinirvana of Lord Buddha, was observed with devotion and religious fervour in Ambernath. Various religious and social programmes were organized at Buddhist monasteries across the city.

A grand Dhamma rally was held, which weaved its way through key locations such as Dhamdeep Vihar, Lumbini Vihar, Amrapali Vihar, etc. to conclude at Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Udyan.

Special police arrangements were made for safety and traffic control along the major roads. The event conveyed the message of peace, equality, and fraternity, with citizens drawing inspiration from Gautam Buddha’s teachings while celebrating this sacred day.

Bhante Sanghapal delivered a Dhamma sermon, highlighting the importance of Buddhism. Tushar Suryavanshi, a disciple of National Enlightener Sapt Kanjari, entertained and educated the attendees through his art, focusing on the significance of the Constitution, Dhamma, and the contributions of great leaders.
