Bhiwandi: The fire department and disaster management department conducted a mock drill at Varhal Lake to test preparedness in dealing with flood situation during the monsoon season.

The mock drill was conducted under the leadership of fire department chief Rajesh Pawar. The drill demonstrated how to provide immediate assistance and evacuation to citizens in flood situations.

Along with the fire department, representatives of disaster management, health department and NGOs participated in the mock drill.
