Thane: There is good news for residents of Thane. The Brihanmumbai Electricity Supply and Transport Undertaking (BEST) will run a new AC bus service from June 1 connecting Mantralaya to Balkum in Thane.

The service was announced as part of the 13 routes converted from non-AC to AC buses by the transport agency.

The AC bus A 490 will travel via Eastern Freeway and Eastern Express Highway in the morning and return bus service in evening. 

Timings:

• From Thane at 7.30 am and 8 am
• From Mantralaya: at 5.30 pm and 6 pm
