In a move to bolster fire protection capabilities, the Municipal Councils of Badlapur and Ambernath have acquired a specialized fire brigade vehicle equipped with a towering 70-meter-high ladder, signalling a significant advancement in their fire fighting capabilities.

The decision to procure this state-of-the-art fire brigade vehicle comes as Badlapur city experiences rapid growth, with plans for the construction of 12-storied buildings.

MLA Kisan Kathore highlighted the importance of this acquisition, emphasizing that the presence of the new fire brigade vehicle would enable the municipalities to grant permission for the construction of 12-storied buildings within Badlapur itself. This marks a milestone as Badlapur becomes the first municipal corporation in the state to facilitate such construction independently, without relying on external fire fighting support.

The introduction of this specialized vehicle not only enhances fire fighting capabilities for tall structures but also signifies a proactive approach by the local authorities to ensure the safety and security of residents amidst the city's development.
