APMC markets in Navi Mumbai reverberate with Shri Ram Murthy Pran Pratishthan celebrations

In sync with the ongoing Shri Ram Murti Pran Pratishtha ceremony in Ayodhya, Navi Mumbai's APMC markets are abuzz with religious fervour. Regarded as the largest market in Asia, the Agricultural Produce Market Committee will witness a series of programs organized by trade associations in celebration of this auspicious occasion.

Vegetable Market Celebrations (January 21):

On January 21, the vegetable market will be immersed in religious activities. The Ramayana story kicks off at 8 am, with a noon session following suit. Evening hours will see the distribution of snacks from 7:00 to 9:00 pm, concluding with the distribution of Prasad. The following day, January 22, will feature the culmination of the Ramayana Katha in the morning, followed by Home Havan at 10 am, Mahaarti from 11 am to 11:30 am, and a Rath Yatra (Fruit Market and Vegetable Market) showcasing the image of Lord Rama. Mahaprasad distribution will take place from 12:30 pm to 3:00 pm. The event is organized by the Wholesale Vegetable Traders Federation, Agrahari Samaj Vikas Seva Sanstha, and Udan Social Sanstha.

Masala Market Celebrations:

In the Masala Market, Bhajans will be held from January 16 to January 21 at Lakshminarayan Mandir, organized by the Market Director and Yuva Seva Sangh Trust. On January 22, festivities include Sundar Kand Path, 56 Bhog Darshan, Mahaarti, and Mahaprasad from 2 pm to 4 pm. Sanjay Pingle, President of the Traders Union, shared details about religious programs organized in the onion and potato market.

Grain Bazaar Celebrations (January 21 and 22):

The Grain Rice and Oilseeds Merchants Association (GROMA) will host Akhand 108 Shri Hanuman Chalisa Yagya on January 21 at 9 am. On January 22, from 9 am to 2 pm, Bhajan-Ram Geet-Bhakti Sangeet (featuring Ms. Ruchi Manushali & Group) will be held. At noon, the Sri Ramlalla Pranpratistha will be broadcast on an LED screen, followed by Shree Ram Mahaarti at 12:30 pm, a Bike Rally at 2:00 pm, and the Palkhi Yatra of Shri Ram Durbar. Organizers anticipate a spiritually enriching celebration led by Mr. Amol Kulkarni.
