Ambernath: Police have registered a case after a headless body was found near Teen Jadi in Ambernath on May 28. Police were alerted by locals when the body was discovered at around 8 am.

Deputy superintendent of police Jagdish Shinde confirmed the incident.

Police personnel from Kalyan Taluka police station rushed to the spot and launched an investigation.

Authorities cordoned off the area and have launched investigations. Efforts are on to identify the deceased. Forensic teams have been called in to assist with the investigation.
