The deteriorating condition of internal roads in Ghansoli has sparked a wave of discontent among residents, prompting the Akhil Bharatiya Sena to issue a statement urging the Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation (NMMC) to undertake immediate redevelopment measures.

In a recent development, Mayur Madhavi, the Youth President of Akhil Bharatiya Sena Ghansoli, voiced concerns over the terrible state of roads, particularly highlighting the road from Jaylata Apartment at Prabhat No. 31 to Sadanand Madhvi's old house. Despite being constructed just last year, the road has succumbed to potholes and wear, causing significant inconvenience to commuters and pedestrians alike.

"The dissatisfaction among citizens is palpable as they navigate through these pothole-ridden roads," remarked Madhavi in his statement to the Municipal Commissioner and Ward Officers, accompanied by signatures from concerned residents.

Madhavi emphasized the urgency of redeveloping the road to ensure superior quality. He also proposed plans to install cement pipes for laying electric cables along one side of the road, advocating for a comprehensive upgrade to enhance both safety and functionality.

"If the matter remains unresolved, we are prepared to escalate our actions," warned Madhavi, highlighting the gravity of the situation.

Acknowledging the pressing need for intervention, Sanjay Desai, City Engineer, Municipal Corporation has assured to conduct a thorough inspection of the road. Subsequent measures will be taken based on the findings of the assessment, stated Desai.
