Navi Mumbai: A seminar titled ‘AI Simplified’ was held at Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Bhavan, Vashi, on 18 April, with the aim of enlightening people from various walks of life about Artificial Intelligence and its practical applications in everyday life. The event was jointly organised by Navi Mumbai-based NGOs Swayamsevi Samanvay Sanstha and Aamhi Udyogini.
The seminar was specially curated for teachers, principals, entrepreneurs, homemakers, students, professionals, and bankers, and witnessed enthusiastic participation from a large audience.
“Artificial Intelligence is no longer limited to tech giants—it’s now a powerful tool accessible to everyone. From simplifying daily tasks, boosting productivity, enhancing learning, to improving business processes, AI is transforming the way we live and work,” shared Shubhangi Tirodkar, Navi Mumbai head of Aamhi Udyogini and vice president of the Maharashtra Chamber of Commerce, Industries and Agriculture (MACCIA).
The session demonstrated how AI can be practically utilised by students, educators, homemakers, and business owners to save time and improve decision-making. Subodh Anant Mestry, founder of the Maharashtra Business Club and a seasoned technology expert, shared valuable insights into the evolving world of Artificial Intelligence and its relevance to daily life.
Interacting with the audience, Mestry explained how AI can simplify everyday tasks, why it is crucial to embrace technology with confidence, and how parents can play an active role in guiding children on the safe and responsible use of mobile phones in today’s digital age.
“With the aim of bridging the gap between emerging technology and everyday life, this AI Simplified seminar was hosted. Through practical demonstrations and relatable examples, participants discovered how Artificial Intelligence can significantly enhance productivity, decision-making, and time management,” Mestry noted.
Explaining the benefits of AI for students, teachers, and homemakers, he said, “Students learnt how AI can assist with studies, generate notes, and provide career guidance; teachers and professionals explored tools to ease documentation and communication; while homemakers were introduced to smart solutions for meal planning, budgeting, and children’s learning support.”
“The session empowered attendees to embrace AI confidently and use it as a personal assistant to simplify daily tasks—making technology accessible, inclusive, and truly transformative,” he added.
