Residents of Sector 8 and Sector 10 in Kharghar have raised concerns over the presence of abandoned vehicles occupying valuable parking spaces in their neighbourhoods. Concerned citizens have urged authorities to take away these vehicles at the earliest.

Subhash Kabnur, a Kharghar resident, highlighted this in his tweet and shared a few pictures. He tweeted saying, “There are abandoned vehicles at Kharghar Sector 8, 10. Please check and vacate. There is a silver car at Sector 8, a black car at Sector 10 riverside, and a tempo near Sector 10 CIDCO playground.”

The Navi Mumbai Police acknowledged this complaint on his tweet and responded saying, “Thank you for contacting Navi Mumbai Police, your complaint has been forwarded to the concerned traffic unit and police station.”

Anurag Kumar, a resident of Sector 8, Kharghar said, “It is upsetting to see abandoned vehicles occupying our parking spaces and lying there just collecting dust and rusting, the tow trucks need to be more vigilant about this, and authorities need to take swift action to remove these vehicles and any other vehicles in the Kharghar area that are just taking up space which can be used by citizens.”
