‘TPL race to Gold Masters Tourney 2025’ to empower young talent across the nation

The Tennis Premier League (TPL), in collaboration with Clear Premium Water and the support of tennis icons of the likes of Leander Paes, Mahesh Bhupathi, Rohan Boppana Sania Mirza, is set to elevate the tennis landscape in India with the announcement of the’ TPL Race to Gold Masters Tournaments 2025’. This initiative aims to discover and nurture young tennis talent across the nation, offering a platform for aspiring players to showcase their skills and earn scholarships.

To be held in three phases, starting with the North Zone in New Delhi on November 15 and 16, at the DLTA Stadium. Following this, the tournament will move to Ahmedabad for the Gujarat leg on November 22 and 23, before concluding in Mumbai at the MSLTA Tennis Complex on November 29 and 30.

Each leg of the tourney will feature competitions across various age categories, including U10, U12, U14, and Open categories for both men and women.

In a bid to incentivize young athletes, top performers in each zone will be awarded scholarships worth Rs. 75,000. The champions will be celebrated during the upcoming seventh season of the Tennis Premier League, taking place from 9th to 14th December in Ahmedabad.

This prestigious event will also provide winners with the opportunity to interact with Indian tennis legends who have multiple grand slams and play with some of the top players in TPL Season 7, such as Luciano Darderi, Arthur Rinderknech, Corentin Moutet, Alexandre Muller, and Shrivalli Bhamidipaty.

Kunal Thakkur, Co-Founder of TPL, emphasized the initiative's significance, stating, “The Race to Gold Masters connects grassroots tennis with the professional circuit, offering young players national exposure while inspiring the next generation of players too.”
