In a remarkable display of resilience, Catholic Gymkhana Ltd. secured a hard-fought 1-0 victory against ESIC in their opening match of the Mumbai Football Association (MFA) Super Corporate League 2025-2026 at the Karnatak SA ground in Churchgate, Mumbai, on March 4. Despite being reduced to just ten players due to several absences, the promoted side showcased their determination.

The match's only goal came from the energetic midfielder Kaustubh Meher, who found the net in the seventh minute.
