NMMC celebrates students' outstanding achievements in SSC Examination

The Secondary School Certificate (SSC) Examination 2024 results have brought pride and celebration to the Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation (NMMC), with students from its schools showcasing exceptional academic prowess.
Puja Shivaji Vanjare, a student of Sanpada Secondary School, emerged as the frontrunner among NMMC students, securing a remarkable 94 percent.
Vaishnavi Ramesh Rathod, hailing from NMMC Secondary English School No. 120, Divagon, attained honours with an impressive 93 percent, adding to the accolades of NMMC.
Additionally, Niharika Verma and Arpita Yadav from Rajarshi Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj Vidyalaya NMMC Secondary School No. 104, Rabada, along with Swaham Pitambar Patra from NMMC Secondary English School No. 120, Divagaon, clinched the third spot jointly, boasting a commendable 91.60 percent.
Dr. Kailas Shinde, the Municipal Commissioner, extended heartfelt congratulations to all successful students, acknowledging the pivotal role played by principals and teachers in guiding them towards excellence.
Among the 23 secondary schools under the Municipal Corporation, School No. 116, Sanpada, School No. 118, Pavnegaon, and School No. 122, Koparkhairane Village, achieved a remarkable 100 percent pass rate, reflecting the commitment to quality education.
With a total of 2812 students appearing for the examination across NMMC schools, an impressive 2674 students passed, boasting an overall average result of 93.61 percent.
With a commendable pass percentage of 97.45%, Navi Mumbai has upheld its reputation for academic excellence. Out of the 15,662 examinees registered from schools in Navi Mumbai, 15,636 students appeared for the exam, of which 15,238 students successfully cleared the examination.
Breaking down the numbers further, 8,024 boys and 7,612 girls appeared for the exam. Among them, 7,766 male students achieved a pass percentage of 96.28%, while an impressive 7,472 female students secured a pass percentage of 98.16%.
