Navi Mumbai: NRI police of Navi Mumbai has arrested one person and recovered drugs worth about Rs 2.40 lakh.

Police have recovered 24 pills of MDMA weighing about 11.12 grams from the accused identified as Abhishek Aruf Chaudhary. The accused, a resident of Nerul, hailed from Odisha.

According to NRI police they received a tip off about a person arriving in Seawoods area to sell drugs. A police team nabbed Ahishek and recovered MDMA drugs.

During interrogation, Chaudhary revealed that he had received the drugs from an African national called Jeku. Police have launched a hunt for Jeku.
