Mira Road: Kashigaon Police raided Divya Palace Lodging near Neelkamal Naka, close to Dhodhia Petrol Pump. The raid was conducted following a tip-off received by Senior Police Inspector of Kashigaon police station Mahesh Togadwar about an alleged sex racket operating at the lodge.

Upon receiving confirmation from the decoy customer, the police team raided the lodge, arresting one waiter and rescuing eight young women allegedly forced into prostitution.

A case has been registered against the lodge's operator, owner, manager, and waiters under Section 143(3) and Section 3(5) of the Bhartiya Nyaya Samhita, along with Sections 3, 4, 5, and 6 of the Prevention of Immoral Trafficking Act (PITA). The operator, owner, and manager of the lodge are currently absconding, and a search has been initiated by Kashigaon police.
