Maiden TATA WPL Champs Mumbai Indians retains 13 players

After a stellar 2023 season that culminated in Mumbai Indians becoming the inaugural Women’s Premier League (WPL) Champs under the leadership of Harmanpreet Kaur, the team management announced its decision to retain the maximum of its players. The decision to this effect came into place as the window for the franchise to retain players for the TATA WPL 2024 season came to an end on 15th October, 2023.

These includes their skipper Harmanpreet who incidentally is also the Indian skipper in all the three formats of the game, Most Valuable Player And Purple Cap recipient - Hayley Matthews, Emerging Player of the season - Yastika Bhatia, Player of the Final - Natalie Sciver-Brunt, Amelia Kerr, Isabelle Wong, Chloe Tryon, Pooja Vastrakar, Saika Ishaque, Amanjot Kaur, Jintimani Kalita, Humairaa Kaazi and Priyanka Bala

However the following four of the 13 players of the successful Batch of 2023 who have been released includes Heather Graham, Sonam Yadav, Dhara Gujjar and Neelam Bisht
