Bhiwandi: The government has sanctioned ₹23 crore for the construction of a state-of-the-art intermediate administrative building in Bhiwandi. This new facility aims to consolidate various scattered revenue department offices, which have long faced space and logistical issues.

Mahesh Choughule, BJP MLA from Bhiwandi West, advocated for this project by writing to Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, and Public Works Minister Ravindra Chavan. The approved building will address the pressing need for a centralized location for the Bhiwandi Tehsil office and other government departments, which are currently spread across multiple locations.

The existing Tehsildar office and associated departments, including the supply department, land records, divisional and talathi offices, and registry offices, are located in various buildings, causing significant inconvenience for citizens. This dispersion often leads to confusion about office locations and delays in processing important documents.

MLA Mahesh Choughule, along with Bhiwandi Sub-Engineer of the Public Works Department Dattu Geete and other officials, recently inspected the proposed site for the new building near the ration office in front of the Bhiwandi sub-divisional office.

The new intermediate administrative building will feature modern, spacious facilities designed to house multiple government offices, including registration, supply departments, and Tehsildar offices. Choughule is confident that this centralized facility will streamline administrative processes, saving citizens both time and money, and significantly improving the efficiency of government services in the region.
