The Maharashtra State Secondary and Higher Secondary Department unveiled the 12th-grade results on Tuesday, highlighting a remarkable performance by female students. In Navi Mumbai, girls dominated with a pass percentage of 94.46%, significantly higher than their male counterparts. The overall pass rate in Navi Mumbai was an impressive 93.70%.

The Konkan Divisional Board, led by Raigad division, topped the 12th-grade results with a 97.01% pass rate. State wide, girls outperformed boys with a 93.80% pass rate.

In Navi Mumbai, 15,735 students applied for the exams, and 15,649 appeared. Among them, 7,705 boys and 6,959 girls passed, resulting in an overall city pass rate of 93.70%. Girls achieved a notable pass rate of 94.46%.

In Thane district, the overall pass rate was 92.08%. While slightly lower than the previous year, girls excelled with a pass percentage of 94.07%. The science branch recorded a record-high pass rate of 97.05%, showcasing the dedication of students and educators in advancing STEM education.

According to Lalita Dahitule, Secondary Education Officer, 97,662 students appeared for the 12th-grade examination in Thane district, with 89,935 passing. This includes 45,655 boys and 44,280 girls.

Murbad taluka achieved the highest pass rate in Thane district, with 98.01% of students clearing the examination. Out of 1,965 students, 1,926 passed, including 939 boys and 987 girls.

The Commerce branch in Thane district recorded a pass rate of 91.34%, with 41,216 out of 45,119 students succeeding. The arts branch had a pass rate of 79.39%, with 10,054 out of 12,663 students passing. The higher secondary business course boasted a pass rate of 93.66%, with 532 out of 568 students clearing the exam. The technology science stream saw a pass rate of 89.67%, with 252 out of 281 students succeeding.
