Ambeghosale Lake area renovation to accelerate, assures TMC Chief

In an effort to expedite the rejuvenation of the Ambeghosale Lake area, Thane Municipal Corporation’s (TMC) Commissioner Saurabh Rao has pledged swift action. Speaking at a comprehensive cleanliness drive organized in the Uthalsar Ward, Rao assured that the administration will prioritize the completion of pending works while heeding the valuable suggestions put forth by senior citizens.

The cleanliness campaign, kick-started at 7:00 am on Saturday, encompassed various locations including Ambeghosale Lake, Meenatai Thackeray Chowk, K Villa, Rabodi, and Ritu Park. Noteworthy participation was witnessed from organizations like the Rotary Club, Shiv Shanti Pratishthan, alongside local residents and municipal officials.

During his inspection of the Ambeghosale Lake area, Commissioner Rao engaged with residents and representatives from senior citizens' associations. Concerns regarding water sanitation, cleanliness, and litter accumulation were raised, prompting directives for immediate action and beautification initiatives. Additionally, Commissioner Rao examined the surroundings of prominent landmarks like the Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru statue and Meenatai Thackeray Chowk.

Acknowledging the significance of senior citizens' input, Commissioner Rao affirmed that their suggestions will be thoroughly evaluated and implemented accordingly, aiming to enhance the area's cleanliness and aesthetic appeal.

 Accompanying Commissioner Rao were several municipal officials including Additional Commissioners Sandeep Malvi and Prashant Rode, Deputy Commissioners Tushar Pawar and Manish Joshi, among others. The inspection also encompassed a review of drainage systems in Uthalsar, with Commissioner Rao emphasizing the importance of timely completion of cleaning operations.
