Tata Steel’s Khopoli (Raigad District) unit was honored with the "Energy Efficient Unit" award at the 24th edition of the CII National Award for Excellence in Energy Management. The event was conducted by the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) at the Hyderabad International Convention Centre (HICC)  Hemendra Tiwari, Head Electrical, Tata Steel Khopoli, accepted the accolade on behalf of the company.

Tata Steel's Khopoli Unit has been recognized in the "Energy efficient unit" category for its commitment to sustainable practices and innovative energy-saving solutions. The selection process for this award involved a rigorous evaluation of initiatives in energy management and the development of innovative energy-saving products or services.
