T20 Mumbai League Season 3 To Commence From 26 May

The third edition of the much awaited T20 Mumbai League being organised by Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) will return after a six-year hiatus, starting May 26, 2025, at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.

ICC Champions Trophy 2025 and T20 World Cup 2024 Team India captain Rohit Sharma being named as the Brand Ambassador of the marquee event. This was announced by MCA President Ajinkya Naik .

The season 3 of T20 Mumbai League will once again feature eight franchise based teams including Eagle Thane Strikers, defending champions North Mumbai Panthers. A total of 20 games will be played during the course of the week long tournament with each team boosted by the presence of one iconic player each (Suryakumar Yadav, Shreyas Iyer, Ajinkya Rahane, Shivam Dube, Tushar Deshpande, Prithvi Shaw and Tanush Kotian) will be playing five games each in the league stage.

Rohit Sharma who unveiled the season 3 trophy on the occasion said  “Our domestic structure has always been the foundation of Indian cricket’s success. Leagues like T20 Mumbai play a significant role in that journey. They serve as platforms that uncover new talent and provide young players with the exposure they need”.

"Mumbai has a rich cricketing legacy, and we’ve seen some incredible players emerge from here. It’s great to see the league’s return, and I’m excited to be a part of it. I’d encourage every youngster to grab this opportunity and leave their mark. I’m confident the third season will be a memorable experience — not just for the players, but for the fans as well," he added..

Earlier over 2800 players had registered for the tourney.
