We all come across someone at some point of time, who’s presence radiates positivity. They seem to us like rays of sunshine and everyone around them can feel it. They always carry a smile on their face and possess a positive attitude.

We may feel that such people are very lucky and they have everything good and positive in their lives. That’s why they just radiate positivity. But probably that is not true.  Most likely that person had to do a lot of work to become someone who radiates positivity. While a positive attitude comes more naturally to some for sure, it is not 100% easy for anyone.

It is something that needs practice. Remember always, positivity does not mean that there will be no challenges, but it is the way we choose to respond to them. We will undoubtedly encounter obstacles, setbacks, and moments of darkness sometimes. But it is only during these phases that our ability to radiate positivity shines the brightest. If any other person you see can be positive and radiate positivity, so can you.

What does it mean to radiate positivity?

To radiate positivity means to build a welcoming and warm personality that includes a compassionate or optimistic approach towards life.

The people who radiate positivity are confident, and they deal with everything in life with a positive attitude by staying optimistic about the future. But, definitely to radiate positivity does not necessarily mean to be positive 100% of the time. Even that is just a plain toxic positivity. There will be days when you do not feel good, Maybe you are unwell, or going through some struggles. That is totally fine.

Being happy 100% of the time is not a necessity for radiating positivity.

It means that you need to try your best to make each day as best as it can be. 

When you radiate positivity, you attract more positive people into your life. People who like to be positive and happy will want to be around your positive energy.  Afterall, all of us want to be around the people who make us feel good

By staying positive you start feeling better about yourself and your life. You cannot radiate positivity without working on yourself. Sometimes initially you might even have to fake it. After you keep trying for some time, you might start to feel naturally more confident, happy and peaceful.

You become better at dealing with life’s challenges. The more positive you are, the less reactive you become especially on the petty issues, which would otherwise irritate you.

There are certain ways in which you can radiate positivity

 Focus on self-care: You can give only what you have. So, to spread positive energy to others, you first have to work on yourself. 

Speak politely and use positive language: When instead of complaining and being harsh, you use kind and positive words, you create optimism and hope in others, thus radiating positivity.

Make eye contact and smile: This is the most effective way to radiate positivity.  Smiles are infectious. If you genuinely smile, when you come across someone, they will smile too, even if they are feeling low. They feel good and positive.

Meditate:  When you meditate, you focus on your breath and clear your mind of all negative thoughts. This allows you to relax, and make a way for positive thoughts to enter your mind. People who regularly meditate seem to have a calming and positive aura.  Cultivating a positive aura is a must to radiate positivity.

Be Grateful : Being grateful means appreciating the good in your life, even the small things. It means to be thankful for who you are and what you have. Gratitude has a lot of benefits for your mental and physical healthOne of those is that it really helps you to be happier and more positive!

There are many more ways to be positive and radiate positivity, and the benefits are unlimited. By making a deliberate effort to smile more and look for something positive in every situation, you can make a significant difference in your life and the lives of people around you.
