Nepal to host Asia Cup of Wheelchair Cricket tournament

Six players selected from Maharashtra as part of the Indian team
The Asia Cup Wheelchair Cricket Tournament has been planned in Kathmandu, Nepal from 4th to 9th October, in which the teams of India, Pakistan, Nepal, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh will be included.
Among the 22 players selected for the Indian team, six are from the Maharashtra Cricket Association.
These players include Ramesh Sartape, Shahid Ansari, Parshuram Disley, Kamlakar Karale, Santosh Kokare, Shivaji Pawar and have been selected in the Indian team due to their good performance throughout the year.
“Ramesh Sartape, a key figure in the Maharashtra Wheelchair Cricket Association, has been selected as the captain of the Indian Wheelchair Cricket team. Manish Sharma, a coach from Maharashtra, has been selected as the coach of the Indian wheelchair cricket team,” said Haroon Rashid, the Secretary of the Divyang Cricket Control Board of India.
