Vashi: Navi Mumbai Bengali Association (NMBA) organised a health camp and blood donation camp on June 14 at the association premises to mark the International Day for Donors.

The camp was organised in support with MGM hospital, Vashi. The health camp offered free health check-up including BP and blood sugar test, ECG, BMI, free ophthalmology test, free dental check-up, free consultation of physicians, orthopaedic, gynaecologist consultation. Special screening for non-invasive, radiation free tests for breast cancer and oral cancer were also offered.

Women in large numbers availed the digital mammogram facility for breast cancer. 

“Today’s free health check-up and blood donation camp is just another step forward towards fulfilling our "well-being to society" mission,” Sukanto Nag, president, NMBA, said.
